About Learning Hub
Education That Evolves With Our Students
Learning Hub was established in Bangkok in 2017, built on years of teaching experience and a belief that effective education begins with understanding the individual student.
Our work has evolved considerably since then. What began as a broad education and career-preparation school has grown into a centre with a strong focus on international medical admissions preparation.
Today, Learning Hub prepares students not only for admissions examinations, but for the journey surrounding them — from academic preparation to applications, SOPs and CVs, and medical-school interviews.

Where We Began
Learning Hub began by offering a diverse range of academic and career-preparation programmes, including BMAT, UCAT, GED, IELTS and cabin crew training. Medical admissions was already part of our work. Learning Hub supported students preparing portfolios for medical programmes including SWU–Nottingham, CICM, Ramathibodi and Chulalongkorn University.

In 2019, Aj. Rani took full leadership of Learning Hub, directing its academic development and shaping the school's next chapter. Her background in education and biomedical science would help shape Learning Hub's growing focus on medical admissions.

The opening of CU-MEDi in 2020 marked a turning point for Learning Hub. With Aj. Rani's background in Biomedical Science, her own experience with medical education, years of teaching, existing work with medical-school applicants and an established team of subject tutors, Learning Hub developed its MCAT preparation programme. It would eventually become a defining part of the school.

Rethinking How the MCAT Should Be Taught
As Learning Hub taught successive cohorts of MCAT students, Aj. Rani identified a fundamental problem with teaching the MCAT purely by subject. The MCAT requires students to connect concepts across disciplines. Teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Biochemistry as isolated subjects did not provide the comprehensive understanding students needed to approach integrated MCAT passages effectively.
Learning Hub therefore redesigned its curriculum around a topic-based rather than purely subject-based approach, allowing students to understand how concepts connect and apply them across the different sciences tested on the MCAT.
This evolution led to the development of the MCAT I and MCAT II structure. MCAT I builds the academic foundation and core skills students need before progressing to the more advanced demands of the examination. MCAT II brings those foundations together through deeper, integrated MCAT preparation, critical thinking, research skills and application.
The curriculum has been redrafted three times since the MCAT programme began — each revision informed by what Learning Hub has learned from teaching real students.

By 2026, another pattern had become clear. Some students were entering MCAT preparation without the foundational reading, interpretation and analytical skills required to benefit fully from MCAT I — particularly students coming from different educational or non-science backgrounds.
That led Learning Hub to introduce Pre-MCAT, a 25-hour programme focused on the skills students need before beginning the main MCAT pathway.
Pre-MCAT therefore wasn't added simply to make the course longer. It was created because years of teaching revealed a gap in the pathway.

Our Approach
No Two Students Think the Same Way
We don't believe education should produce identical students giving identical answers.
Every student arrives with a different academic background, way of thinking, set of experiences, strengths and weaknesses. Our role is to identify those differences and build from them.
That philosophy extends beyond the classroom. Whether a student is analysing an MCAT passage, developing an SOP, building a CV, planning a medical-school application or preparing for an MMI, our goal is not simply to teach them what to say or what to memorise. It is to help them think clearly, reason independently and communicate authentically.

Meet Aj. Rani
Academic Director & Medical Admissions Consultant
Teaching has been part of Aj. Rani's life since the age of 18, long before she took full leadership of Learning Hub in 2019.
Her academic background spans biomedical science, healthcare management and business strategy, giving her a multidisciplinary perspective on medical education and admissions.
Her own experience in medical education, combined with years of teaching and working directly with medical-school applicants, has shaped Learning Hub's highly individualised approach.
Today, Aj. Rani remains directly involved in students' admissions journeys — from academic preparation and application strategy to SOP and CV development, individual MMI preparation and medical-school interviews.
